6th Grade Abstract Sculptures

The 6th graders are working on their "abstract sculptures".  They began by brainstorming different emotions (mad, sad, happy, etc.)  and then had to show what those emotions would look like using only line.

Then the students rolled tubes out of newspaper.  Those tubes are being used to create a sculpture based on one of the emotions the students drew.  The sculptures are painted after being built.
